KOHAT: A minor girl, who was kidnapped along with her mother from Gujranwala in Punjab three years back, was recovered in Jawakai area in Frontier Region (FR) Kohat on Tuesday, official sources said.
The sources said that one Muhammad Amin, who was working in Gujranwala, had kidnapped Iram Bibi and her three-year-old daughter, Zainab.The sources said, he sold them to one Khan Mir for Rs60,000 three years back. Khan Mir had then sold Zainab for Rs40,000 to one Taj Muhammad. Iram Bibi later went missing.
The sources said the officials of the district administration in a raid recovered Zainab and arrested Khan Mir, Muhammad Amin and Faisal.The political administration registered the case and started investigation.
