KARACHI, January 27,2005:Honour killing under the custom of Karo kari in Sindh claimed as many as 240 lives during the year 2004. According to the Lawyers Committee for Human Rights Pakistan (LCHRP). Report on Karo-kari, sexual abuse, sucide and attempted sucide said that 132 women and 108 men had fallen victim to Karo-kari.The report said that 478 people had been sexually assaulted and 768 people committed suicide.
