‘Kari’ shot dead by husband

LARKANA: A farmer shot dead his 20-year-old wife Gulzar Khatoon on Tuesday after branding her Kari, in village Hussain Magsi in the jurisdiction of Behram police station.

Accused Ali Madad Magsi fled after committing the crime. Mashooq Magsi, brother of the victim, registered an FIR against the killer who later surrendered to police.

The killer said he had suspected that his wife had illicit relations with a man, Ghulam Muhammed Magsi, of the same town.
