KARACHI- Some armed persons attacked journalist Niaz Turk in Pipri near Steel Mills Township here on August 12, 2003.

Niaz Turk told the newsman that the culprits carrying axes and sticks attacked him but due to intervention of area people the armed persons ran away. He alleged that attackers belonged to a group of land mafia.
