Lahore: The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) has taken notice of the continued judicial harassment of activist Prof M Ismail and his wife. An HRCP statement issue Sunday said, “For over three years they have been subjected to raids of their homes, fabricated cases and restriction on their freedom with the elderly Prof Ismail forced to serve jail time despite ill health. The state must stop this persecution immediately and guarantee their safe and constitutional freedoms.”
