Honour killing: man gets death

TOBA TEK SINGH: Additional District and Sessions Judge Tanweer Mustafa Safoot on Friday handed down death sentence and Rs100,000 fine to an accused in an honour killing case of Chak 358-GB, Mughli.

The court acquitted Nawaz, the father of the convict, by giving him the benefit of the doubt.

According to the prosecution, convict Riaz had killed his cousin Zarina Bibi on suspicion of having relations with a youth of her village about a year back.
