MINGORA – Honour killing claims two lives on October 25, in the remote Shabaka village of Matta subdivision in Upper Swat. It was reported that Ali Muhammad, son of Dauray, and his cousin, Shamia, daughter of Sher Afzal, were in love but the girl’s father was not ready to marry his daughter to his nephew.

The girl went to Ali Muhammad’s house, which infuriated her father, who along with his son Gul Afzal, barged into the house of his nephew, Ali Muhammad, and allegedly killed both of them instantly.
