BANNU: Militants blew up a local girls’ school in Barlashti Daudshah village on Friday night, official sources said.
The sources said that a room of the Government Girls Primary School in Barlashti was destroyed in the explosion. The police and bomb disposal unit reached the scene and defused three other explosive devices, they added. Meanwhile, gunmen broke into the house of Muhammad Iqbal at night in Bozakhel village in the limits of Basiakhel Police Station and decamped with Rs200,000 cash and one tola of gold.
