Girls clinch top three positions in Abbottabad board SSC exam

ABBOTTABAD: Girls clinched top three positions in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Annual examination 2014 announced by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary

Education (BISE) Abbottabad on Tuesday.

Announcing the result, Controller of Examination Professor Jehanzeb Khan informed that 55,520 students had appeared in the SSC examination, out of whom 36,736 were declared successful with a passing percentage of 66.17.

In overall result, Fatima Younas of Pakistan International Public School & College, Abbottabad and Khansa Siddique of Garden Public School Mansehra jointly got overall first position by obtaining 1041 marks.

Similarly, Syeda Amina Zaheer of Pakistan International Public School & College, Abbottabad and Sama Roman of Mansehra Public School and College, Mansehra have jointly bagged overall top second position by getting 1039 marks while Syeda Batool Haider of Iqra Collegiate School, Mansehra got third position, obtaining 1038 marks.
