Full pension urged for widows

HYDERABAD: The federal government should pay full pension to widows for enabling them in leading an honourable and dignified life as the unprecedented price hike had made it difficult to meet both ends.

This demand was made by the All Pakistan Technical Draughtsmen Federation during a meeting.

The meeting observed that half pensions were making it hard for the poor widows to meet the expenses.

It pleaded the upgradation of technical draughtsmen on the pattern of non-technical government employees.

The federation’s chairman said that the issue of widows’ pension and upgradation of technical draughtsmen was pending with the federal secretary since last five years.
