Four women killed over Karo-Kari

JACOBABAD: Four women were killed in two different incidents in Jacobabad on Friday. Police told The News that Akbar Jakhrani shot dead his mother Dur Gul Khatoon and his brother Ali Jan Jakhrani’s wife Nazeeran Khatoon and the wife of a guest Ghulam Rasool Bugti with his TT pistol over the charge of Karo Kari. Later, he escaped from the scene.

The incident occurred in a village in the limits of Addar Thanna Police Station of Jacobabad. The accused Akbar claimed that his mother and his Bhabhi (brother’s wife) had illicit relations with Ghulam Rasool Bugti.

In another incident, an accused Sher Muhammad Jakhrani opened fire in village Sher Ali Jakhrani and killed his wife Rabaily Khatoon over the charge of Karo Kari and escaped from the spot.
