PESHAWAR: Four girls’ schools in the Jandar Gali area of the Nauthia locality were closed Tuesday after a bomb hoax. Three government-run primary schools and a middle school for girls are located in the area. The teachers and students were told in the morning that there were threats of bombing. Later a bomb hoax spread in all the four institutions, panicking students and teachers. The schools were closed and police were called to check a vehicle parked in the area. The car was later cleared.
