[one_half_last]KHANEWAL/JHANG/SARGODHA: Five women raped in different incident here on Wednesday. Shamsa Kanwal, wife of Muhammad Fazil and resident of Awan Town Lahore in her complaint to Mina Channu police alleged that she was came in the city to settle a cash issue of his husband with his friends in Mian Channu.
Her husband’s friend Muhammad Ashraf along with one unknown person kidnapped her from T-Chowk Mian Channu in a car, asking her that he would settle the issue at the residence of his friend, she said. However, she added, Ashraf and his friend raped her at gunpoint and managed to escape. SHO Ajmal Saeed said the police had registered an FIR on the complaint of the victim, but after that she was not contacting with the police and her cell phone was off.
In another incident, Mazhar raped his six-year-old cousin Shazia when she came at his residence to collect water. Shazia arrived in her uncle’s home while her uncle and other family members were out of the home in the fields for harvesting of wheat crop. Meanwhile, Mazahar forcedly raped her left her unconscious in critical condition. The mother of Shazia, Parveen Mai and grandmother Shaiban demanded strict legal action against the accused.
In Jhang, three women were raped in Jhang separately. A paralysed girl of Chak Burjiwala was raped by one Murtaza. A landlord of Mouza Mangini of Bhowa along with other accused gang raped two women, shaved their heads and beat up. He also threatened them of dire consequences if they disclosed it.
RAPE ACCUSED HELD: Police claimed to have arrested the alleged rapist of a 10 years old girl. Victim Ambreen, a student of 4th class, was allegedly raped by three accused. She was shifted to Government Mola Bakhash Hospital where doctors verified the rape. Her father is a blind person. Police authorities said that case would be sent to the court after the completion of investigation.
