A three day photo exhibition ‘Aisa Bhi Hai Pakistan’ was organized by Unique Pakistan and Tangerine Media. It was held at Sadequain Art Gallery, Frere Hall Karachi. The exhibition lasted till Sunday, with its aim of promoting Pakistani culture, traditions and customs through photographs.
The exhibition was from November 16, 18 in which people throughout Pakistan participated, by sending best photographs to the exhibition. Out of many photos, 100 were selected to be exhibited and from those, 10 were prize winning photographs. On the first day of the exhibition, prize distribution ceremony was held to encourage the participants. The photos reflected Pakistani people and their occupations and traditions and last but not the least some splendid specimens of our scenic beauty.
The photographs were from valleys of Kaghan, Naran, Kashmir, Hunza, Gilgit Baltistan. People from all classes and ages visited the exhibition and appreciated the talent of the participants. Even foreigners visited the exhibition and it was covered by media. Such exhibitions should take place more often which promotes our culture, as they play a significant role in the development of a nation and progress of a country.
