Karachi: The bullet-riddled bodies of a young man and woman were found from Gulshan-e-Maymar early on Monday morning with a note saying ‘Dosti ka Anjaam’, meaning the consequence of love.
The bodies are yet to be identified, but the police said the man and woman were in their early thirties. The bodies were found in a filter plant near Mulla Essa Goth, Maymar. The police shifted the bodies to hospital where the medico-legal officer said they bore marks of torture. “They were brutally tortured before being killed,” he police concurred.
The police said they had found a letter while inspecting the scene of crime which suggests that the murder was the result of some love affair. A case has been registered and investigation is under way.
