Domestic violence surge

Domestic violence is a grave violation of human rights that affects individuals and families across all socio-economic backgrounds. Unfortunately, the recent surge in domestic violence incidents in Pakistan is indicative of a broader societal problem that requires urgent intervention. One of the contributing factors to this rise in domestic violence may be attributed to the socio-economic pressures and challenges faced by individuals and families, exacerbated by the ongoing economic uncertainties and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
