Culprits won’t go unpunished

MUZAFFARGARH: Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that the accused involved in parading and filming two women naked will not go unpunished and will be tried in an anti-terrorism court.

He was talking to the victims – Sakina Bibi and her cousin Shamim Bibi – at their house in Khangarh on Thursday. The CM ordered DPO Zeeshan Asghar to arrest all the culprits within 48 hours or action would be taken against him. The victims informed the chief minister about the incident. The chief minister gave a cheque for Rs500,000 to the victims and a house to Sakina Bibi. He said justice would be provided to the victims.

Later, the chief minister knocked on doors of neighbours of the victims and inquired about the incident. Sakina Bibi said that she was satisfied with the chief minister’s assurance regarding the arrest of accused.
