SUKKUR: A 14-year-old girl was killed by her uncle after he declared her ‘kari’ in Malik Mohalla Tangwani, Kashmore on Saturday night. According to reports, Ghulam Mustafa Malik suspected that his niece was having an affair with someone in the neighbourhood.
On Saturday night, while the girl was asleep, her uncle took out a gun and shot her dead. The police shifted the deceased body to Kandhkot hospital for autopsy but due to absence of a lady doctor, the body was taken to Shikarpur hospital. The police has arrested the accused, Ghulam Mustafa Malik, and found a gun in his custody. No case was registered till the filing of this report.
