RAWALPINDI: Additional District and Sessions Judge (ASJ) Raja Shabrez Akhtar Thursday indicted a couple for their alleged involvement in kidnapping, raping and blackmailing girls and making their videos.

The court ordered production of evidence against the accused on December 11. On August 3, an MSc student (girl) of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) lodged a complaint with the police stating that a young couple — Qasim Jahangir and his wife Kiran Mehmood — had kidnapped and raped her.

The couple is linked with international porn websites and sells them nude videos and photographs of victims against heavy amounts. The police brought the accused in court in heavy security.

Qasim Jahangir confessed to criminally assaulting 45 minors and many young girls and making their films. The police recovered videos of 10 minor girls and thousands of nude photographs from his custody.
