LAHORE: A Kazakh girl, who was allegedly tortured by some people at a real estate office in Johar Town on Saturday night, was booked along with three others for prostitution by Johar Town police and sent on judicial remand on Sunday.
The police are still searching for a man and a woman who, they believe, run the prostitution den.
The foreigner, Amala, was subjected to torture allegedly by her clients at Arshad Estate Agency when she apparently refused to give in to their carnal demands.
The police and paramedics rushed to the spot after they were informed that a woman was crying and screaming outside a real estate office.
Sadar division SP Mansoorul Haq told Dawn a case had also been registered against Sadaba alias Sara, the brothel owner, besides her alleged clients Malik and Khalil under Section 371 (habitual dealing in slaves) A and B of the Pakistan Penal Code.
He said police inquiries revealed the girl was engaged for prostitution by Malik and was dropped at the estate agency by Shadaba.
Mr Haq said the girl, who kept changing her statements, neither disclosed the place where she lived nor helped the police in nabbing the woman who ran the brothel.
He said according to an initial medico-legal report, the girl was not sexually assaulted but she was manhandled by the accused who inflicted bruises on her forearm. He said raids were on to track down Shadaba.
Earlier, Amala complained to the police that she was kidnapped by six people from Liberty Market and was brought to the place where she was forced to drink and have sex with two men, one of them in police uniform.
She said on her refusal the accused injured her arm and broke her teeth. However, she said, she managed to come out of the place and raised an alarm.
Amala said she had come to Pakistan to marry a man and was shopping at Liberty Market when she was kidnapped.
