RAWALPINDI: A bailiff recovered a child from the custody of father on Tuesday and handed him over to mother.
Musarrat Yasmeen moved District and Sessions Judge Attaullah Kausar claiming her husband, Shaban Akhtar, snatched her three-and-a-half years old son, Akash, three days ago and was keeping him in illegal custody.
She prayed the child be given in her custody. The court appointed Malik Lal as bailiff who recovered Akash from the limits of Mandra police station and handed him over to Yasmeen on interim bail. Both the parties were directed to appear before the court on May 3.
