Brother-in-law Kills sister-in-law and tenant in honor killing

In Karachi, near the Baldia Jungle School in Rana Ground, a man shot and killed his sister-in-law and her tenant in what is believed to be an honor killing.

According to SHO Ittehad Town Rao Shabbir, the victims were identified as 32-year-old Sonia, wife of Tanveer, and 38-year-old Muhammad Irshad, son of Lal Dad Shah.

Initial investigations suggest that the incident occurred due to an honor-related motive, with Sonia’s brother-in-law, Mustafa, being the shooter.

Sonia’s husband is currently working abroad, while the deceased Irshad was her tenant.

There were alleged illicit relations between them.

The police reported that the suspect used a 30-bore pistol to carry out the shooting and fled the scene immediately after.

The suspect hails from the Hazara district, and police are conducting raids to locate him.
