Body remains unidentified
KARACHI: The headless body of a young girl found on Sunday within the Preedy Police Station limits so far remains unidentified. According to the medical reports, the Investigation Officer (IO) and the Inspector Rana Muhammad Aslam stated that the girl was initially made unconscious (possibly by drugs) and then raped. He further said that the eight year-old girl was most likely killed so the accused could not be identified, in case she was familiar with the culprit. A man who runs his own juice business near Dawood Pota Road, informed the local police of a suspicious sack-bag. She was found beheaded, and unclothed and her abdomen had been slashed. The body was then taken to Jinnah Post-graduate Medical College for autopsy. The IO stated that Medico Legal Officer told them the girl was killed a few hours before she was discovered.
Inspector Rana said that they are in touch with all police departments, including the police deployed in the Interior. The wireless station is broadcasting the news regarding the girl, he said, adding that they have been requesting relevant information that will help give clues about her parents/relatives.
