Body of Tasleem

KHAIRPUR, July 8: The body of Tasleem Solangi, who was killed on the pretext of karo-kari in March 2008, was exhumed and its post- mortem was conducted again on Thursday.

Her body was exhumed in the graveyard of Hajna Shah village, Kingri taluka. A medical board, led by Dr Mohammad Tariq Arain with along with Dr Zahida Soomro of Lady Willington Hospital Khairpur as its member, conducted the post- mortem.

The doctors’ team examined her body and took samples for laboratory test. Parents of Tasleem Solangi were not present on the occasion, sources said.
