CHINIOT,January 27,2005:The armed robbers threw acid on the face of local trader’s young daughter Samia (20) on offering resistance during a robbery incident at her house, in Manzurpur here last night. Reportedly, three unidentified armed armed robbers stormed into the house of local trader Abdul Rahim, made hostage all the family members at gunpoint and started looting.

As trader’s young daughter resisted, the armed robbers threw acid on her face and fled away after looting gold ornaments, cash and other valuables worth Rs.50,000. She received serious burn wounds and was admitted at a local hospital in critical condition.
