KHANEWAL: A 14-year-old girl and her mother sustained critical burns after a youth attacked them acid when they were on the way to a local doctor clinic in a village 92/10R.
According to police, Zoia, daughter Muhammad Arif along with her mother Sughran Bibi were going to the clinic of local doctor in village 92/10R the other night. In the meanwhile a motorcyclist threw acid on them. Resultantly, both the woman and her daughter sustained critical burns and were rushed to DHQ Hospital by Rescue 1122. However, later they were referred to Nishtar Hospital Multan on the directive the Punjab health Minister. The Khanewal Saddr Police have registered an FIR and started investigation.
