Abduction of three sisters: Parents warn of committing suicide in Hafizabad

HAFIZABAD: A labourer and his wife on Sunday warned of committing suicide if their three abducted daughters were not recovered.

Talking to newsmen here, labourer Muhammad Mushtaq said that he, his wife and their children lived in the rented house of Muhammad Azhar at Mohallah Mian Da Kot. He alleged that Azhar with the help of his four accomplices abducted his daughters, Farzana. 15, Rizwana, 13, and Adeeba, 7, about one and a half month ago and shifted them to Sindh. Mushtaq further alleged that though the City police registered an abduction case, yet they mentioned abduction of his one daughter in it. Mushtaq and his wife accused the police of siding with the accused.

They said that the police had arrested accused Azhar, but they did not detain him in the lock-up and were giving him protocol. They said that the police had failed to recover their daughters even after receiving Rs 15,000 bribe from them.

They said that they went to the office of DPO Abdul Rub but to no avail. Mushtaq has demanded the chief minister and the IGP order the police to recover his daughters.
