KURIANWALA: Two women were raped while one was stabbed with a knife over thwarting the rape attempt by making noise.

A complainant told police that suspect Imran Alias Mani, a resident of Marzipura Street 3, took her on a motorcycle to Chirag Town, where the other suspect Shahbaz was already present. She told police that the suspect Imran raped her at gunpoint while his friend was on guard.

Meanwhile, another woman was raped in the city. The victim told police that suspect Muhammad Junaid took her with her under the pretext of a land dispute. She said the suspect took her to 53 GB and raped her.

Meanwhile, another woman was stabbed with a knife after she thwarted the rape attempt. The victim told police that a suspect, armed with a knife, barged into her house after breaking the lock of the main gate and tried to rape her. Reportedly, the victim failed the rape attempt by raising her voice. As a result, the suspect stabbed the victim in her neck with a knife. She was rushed to a hospital for treatment.

Police registered cases against the suspects under Section 376,511 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and started raids for their arrest.
