BAHAWALPUR: A man allegedly committed suicide after killing his wife and daughter after quarrel with his wife at Cholistan’s Adda  Mirana village on Thursday.

Rescue 1122 officials said Muneer Ahmed had strained relations with his wife and they would frequently quarrel over petty issues. On Thursday, they exchanged harsh words after which Muneer killed his wife Jameela Bibi and daughter Asma bibi, 24, and later committed suicide.

Police sent the bodies for postmortem examination and completed legal formalities.
