Anti-literacy militants blasted a government run girls primary school with explosives here on early Friday morning. Police said that unknown miscreants had planted explosive material in government girls primary school located in Saru area of tehsil Shabqadar of Charsadda which exploded.
As a result of explosion two rooms of the school were destroyed but no loss of life was reported as the building was vacant at the time of blast and also situated away from residential area. The police took the night watchman of the school into custody and started investigation.
