LAHORE: Two teenage girls were murdered for ‘honour’ separately in different parts of the provincial metropolis, police said on Monday.
Zainab Bibi, 16, was gunned down by her stepfather Sher Afzal at home in Bhogiwal. The killer fled from the scene. Police investigators said that the girl had a relationship with a boy. Police have moved the body to morgue for autopsy and are investigating without any arrest.
In another incident, an 18-year-old girl was shot dead by her brother in Raiwind police limits.
According to the family of deceased, Sajida Bibi eloped with her fella 15 days ago and she returned home on Monday morning on the intervention of elders.
A murder case has been registered against the killer on the complaint of his father.
