On January 29, police arrested a man from Kot Lakhpat area of Lahore for allegedly murdering his wife, whom he suspected of infidelity. The victim, identified as 47-year-old Kulsoom Bibi, was reportedly killed using a sharp tool by her husband, Amin, a resident of Babar Chowk.

The police have confirmed that the suspect has been detained and the investigation has commenced.

The local police were called to the scene where they arrested Amin with the murder weapon in his possession. The body of Kulsoom Bibi, who was a mother of two, was subsequently transported for post-mortem examination.

According to reports, frequent disputes occurred between the deceased and her husband, with Amin harboring doubts about his wife’s fidelity. These suspicions are believed to have led to the tragic killing.

The police have gathered evidence and officially registered a case, with further investigations ongoing to uncover more details about the incident.
