Senior Police Official Orders Immediate Action on Rising Land Encroachment Complaints

Islamabad, 26-Jan-2026 (PPI): Citizens voiced serious concerns over land encroachments directly to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for Operations, Qazi Ali Raza, during an open court session held at his office to address public grievances.

The assembly, organised under an open-door policy following special directives from Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, provided a platform for residents to present their issues.

In response to the complaints, the SSP for Operations gave his full attention to each citizen. He subsequently instructed the appropriate officers to initiate legal proceedings on the submitted applications, demanding they adhere to a strict timeline and furnish a compliance report.

Speaking at the event, Qazi Ali Raza reaffirmed the police force’s commitment to providing the utmost relief to the public, stating it was a primary objective. He also highlighted a zero-tolerance policy concerning violence against women and children, asserting that the supremacy of the law would be upheld without exception.

The SSP further underscored the principle of equal rights for all individuals, assuring attendees that every application would be evaluated strictly on merit. He added that the safeguarding of citizens’ lives, property, and personal dignity is considered to be of paramount importance.
