NAROWAL: Sialkot Additional District and Sessions Judge Liaquat Ali Ranjha on Saturday handed down life imprisonment along with Rs1 million fine to two men for raping a 13-year-old girl in November 2023 at Kot Koda.
Reports said labourer `A` had complained to the police that his daughter `M` was alone at home when two locals `U` and `O` forced their entry into the house and gang-raped her.Saddar police had registered a case under Section 375 A of the Pakistan Penal Code against the suspects. A police team arrested the suspectsandInvestigation Officer Inspector Razia Saber obtained evidence of the case, medical and DNA reports.
On Saturday, the court handed down life term and a fine of Rs1 million to the suspects and ordered them to pay Rs800,000 to the girl.
The convicts will serve six-month additional imprisonment in case of non-payment.
