Unidentified gunmen shot dead a woman and her lover for ‘honour’ in Darya Khan area of Bhakkar on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

As per details, a 35-year-old woman were accused of having illicit relations with a young man who was also her neighbor in Chak No. 12 of Darya Khan.

The deceased were later identified as Sumaira Bibi and Afaq.

Soon after receiving the report of the incident, local police reached the crime scene and shifted the dead bodies to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital (THQ) Darya Khan for necessary medico-legal proceedings.

Further investigation was underway.
