On taking notice of CPO Rawalpindi Khalid Hamdani, a police officer named Faisal Latif was arrested and a case was registered under the provisions of police order and premeditated murder. The case was registered in the complaint of the father-in-law of the accused police officer Faisal Latif.

In the text of the case, it is written that the son-in-law Faisal Latif is married to his daughter, they have three daughters. The son-in-law’s attitude towards the daughter was not good and he used to beat him. Three months ago, the daughter got angry and came to my house. Ley came to the street and then started shouting after kicking the door.

He said that when he came out of the upper portion of the house, the son-in-law started firing from there, making a murderous attack with a government rifle. During the firing, the bullets hit the door. Fortunately, I and my family were safe.

It has been written in the FIR that the son-in-law, being a police officer, took advantage of the uniform and threatened serious consequences by assaulting him with a government rifle.

CCPO Khalid Hamdani said that the police officer has been arrested and a case has been registered and departmental action has also been initiated, transgression of authority and violation of law is intolerable. He said that police officers should be more careful in their behavior, those who harm the departmental dignity will be dealt with strictly.
