Lahore: A 25-year-old woman was found slaughtered from Green Town area, police said. The woman, yet to be identified, was lying dead in a pool of blood in the fields near Mayowali Pully as the police investigators reached the spot. Some passersby spotted body of and contacted the police by phone.
Police investigators believe unidentified killers slaughtered the woman with a sharp edge weapon somewhere else but escaped after throwing her body in the fields. The body was removed to the morgue for autopsy. Police have launched investigations to unearth the killers behind the blind murder. However, no arrest made till late Monday night.
