Three brothers kill sister-in-law over family feud

SWABI: Three brothers killed their sister-in-law after barging into her house on Saturday night over a family feud, the police said.

Officials in Swabi city police station said the incident occurred in Seenkhel Maneri Bala area.

Mirzaman Seenkhel got registered an FIR with the police, stating that three brothers, Abdul Wahab, Sulaiman Khan and Ziad Ahmad, entered his house and started firing. As a result of the firing, he said his wife died on the spot.

He said the accused were his cousins.

Man gunsdown wife over domestic dispute

MULTAN   –   A man shot and allegedly killed his wife over a domestic dispute in the limits of Jatoi police station. According to Rescue officials, there was a domestic dispute between a couple in Tehsil Jatoi Muzaffargarh area. On the incident day, the husband Abdul Rauf went to the in-laws and killed his wife by opening fire on her. Rescue 1122 shifted the body to Tehsil headquarters hospital Jatoi after covering the body with a dead sheet in the presence of police.The deceased was identified as 26-year-old Saira Bibi W/o Abdul Rauf resident of Tehsil Jatoi. The police have registered the case and started an investigation into the incident.

Man caught dumping drum carrying wife’s body

Police on Sunday claimed to have arrested a man in Korangi while he was dumping a plastic drum carrying the body of his murdered wife.

Officials said the suspect was arrested in Allah Wala Town in the Korangi Industrial Area police limits during the early hours. They said the man was trying to escape when the police caught him.

Police said the man was seen throwing a blue drum, which the locals found suspicious, so they stopped him. Upon opening the drum, they found the body of a woman inside, added the officials.

The locals informed the police, who then arrested the man named Babu, son of Noor Ahmed, and took custody of the woman’s body. The suspect told the officials that he lived in Chanesar Goth and had killed his wife by suffocating her with a pillow.

Police said the man hid the body in the drum, which he then loaded onto a pickup truck and drove to Korangi to dispose of it. Officials said the body was three days old, adding that she was a mother of four. The body was taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre.

Man held for ‘killing’ step-mother

BATKHELA: The police here on Sunday arrested a man on the charges of killing his step-mother in Aladhand Dheri in Malakand district.

Aziz-ur-Rahman, an official of Malakand Levies, told reporters that the accused identified as Shoaib allegedly killed his step-mother over a domestic issue.
