Boys disguised as girls were held for harassing women

TOBA TEK SINGH: The Faisalabad Civil Lines police arrested four boys on Tuesday who had disguised themselves as girls by wearing veils and were harassing women in Jinnah Garden.

According to an FIR registered under sections 354, 509, and 294 of the Pakistan Penal Code, complainant Sub-Inspector Akhtar Pervaiz stated that women had complained to the police about four people dressed in black veils who were bothering them.

When the police uncovered their faces, they were identified as Muhammad Imran, Muhammad Suleman, Muhammad Hussain, and Muhammad Talha.

Woman allegedly raped in BBH

RAWALPINDI: A woman was allegedly raped by an employee of the government-run Benazir Bhutto Hospital on the premises of the hospital, police said.

According to an FIR lodged by the victim with Waris Khan police, she was a mother of two children and resided in Bakra Mandi.

The woman said she had been residing with her parents since her divorce three years ago while her children lived with their father.

The woman claimed that for the last three years, she had been in a relationship with the suspect who had promised to marry her. She said the suspect had called her to Benazir Bhutto Hospital on Saturday afternoon.

When she reached the hospital, he took her to an adjacent room of the X-ray department where a computer operator was already sitting.

She further alleged in the FIR that the suspect then took her to the rear end of the computer room where he sexually assaulted her, made her video, and then started blackmailing her.

The police took the suspect into custody and launched an investigation.

Mardan woman and her three sons killed over property dispute

MARDAN: A property dispute claimed the lives of a woman and her three sons in the Rasheed Abad area here on Tuesday, the police said.

They said the victims were identified as Ms. Shaheen, wife of Rahim Gul, and her sons, Numan, 26, Usman, 24, and Irfan, 21.

The alleged killer, who fled the scene, was identified as Fawad.

Officials of the relevant Hoti police station quoted Liaba, 18, daughter of the slain woman, as saying that she along with her mother and brothers was present inside their house when the accused knocked at the door.

She said that as her brother, Irfan, went to see who was knocking at the door, the alleged killer, Fawad, shot him dead before entering their house. She said the man then started indiscriminate fire, killing her mother and two other brothers on the spot, while she narrowly escaped.

She cited a dispute over their house with the accused as the reason leading to the killing of her mother and three brothers.

The accused, who was also residing in the neighborhood, wanted to buy the victims’ house at the price of his choice, but the owners refused

The police registered an FIR against the accused on the complaint of Liaba.

The officials said they had started making raids to arrest the alleged killer.

Man kills daughter, two others in name of honor

KHUZDAR: A man allegedly gunned down his 20-year-old daughter and two others in the name of honor in Mastung district, on Tuesday.

According to a Levies official, Rukhsana left her house on Monday night with the intent to run away with her friend Satak Khan. But as soon as her father, Muhammad Usman got wind of her intentions, he and his two sons chased them. In the Dasht area, Rukhsana’s father allegedly opened fire at her, killing her on the spot, according to Levies. He also killed Satak Khan and Gohram, his friend.

Levies personnel rushed to the scene after receiving information about the incident and shifted the three bodies to the hospital at Mastung for autopsy.

“It’s a case of honor killing,” Samiullah, the SHO of Levies police station at Kirdgab, said.

Muhammad Usman and his two sons escaped from the scene.

Levies carried out raids at different places on Tuesday to catch the suspects

Fathers held for killing son, daughter

Rawalpindi: Police have arrested a man for killing his real son over a land dispute four days ago. According to a police spokesman, Jatli police held Naveed Anwar, who along with his other accomplices had killed his son Abdul Rafi and injured Raheel by firing. The case was registered at Jatali police station on the complaint of Raheel’s uncle.

SHO said other accomplices will also be arrested soon. SP Saddar Muhammad Nabil Khokhar said that the arrested accused will be brought to justice with solid evidence, and all resources are being used to arrest the accused involved in the heinous crime.

Meanwhile, Police have arrested a father who killed his daughter brutally a week ago in the jurisdiction of Wah Cantt police station. According to a police spokesman, the accused Maqsood had killed the daughter with a sharp instrument. Wah Cantt Police registered a case on the complaint of the victim’s mother and arrested the accused. The accused is being interrogated, SHO told.
