LARKANA: Three armed men gunned down a 35-year-old man and then shot dead a 50-year-old woman in the Bai Daro village in the limits of Qambar police station on Friday, in an apparent bid to make the double murder appear to be related to karo-kari affair.

The group of assailants killed Muharram Buledi, 35, when he was sitting in his autaq and later killed Ms Wadee Mugheri, 50, while she was busy working in an agriculture field.

Police have arrested one Gulab Mughiri but have not yet registered an FIR.
