Multan: A 10-year old girl, Allah Rakhi, was kidnapped and allegedly raped by her relative, Ahsan, who later strangled her to death in Muradad, a suburb of Muzaffargarh. Acting DPO Arif Aslam Rao said that Ahsan was a close relative of Allah Rakhi who lured her away when she was playing with a three-year old girl Maheen.
He took her at a deserted place where he subjected Rakhi to sexual assault. When her condition deteriorated he strangled her to death and ran away with Maheen. Later police arrested him from nearby orchard and recovered the girl. Police said that they timely recovered the girl otherwise he wanted to kill her too.
Post mortem of the victim was conducted at district Head Quarter hospital Muzaffargarh.
Initial report confirmed the sexual assault and strangling her while police have sent DNA samples of the victim to Islamabad for test.
