LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday, taking notice of a press report regarding assault on a three and a half years old girl, directed the District & Sessions Judge, Lahore, to look into the matter and submit a detailed report regarding the steps taken by the local police along with his own comments within a week. In Hameed Park of Shahdara, a three and a half years old daughter of a labourer was playing in a street outside her house when a 20-year-old vagabond Khurram took her to an unknown place where he molested the ill-fated girl. On the application of the father of the victim, police registered a case against the said accused and arrested him.
