LAHORE: Punjab Women Development Department has launched toll-free helpline 0800-92444 for addressing the complaints of women.Provincial Minister for Women Development Hameeda Waheed-ud-Din said that the helpline would operate initially from 8am to 4pm and women from all over the province associated with any sector or victims of domestic violence would be able to get their complaints registered at the helpline.
The minister said that three desks had been set up at Women Development Department where the staff would take immediate notice of the complaints and send them to the departments and institutions concerned for action.
