LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Monday took notice of a press report that two teachers of a private school assaulted a female student of seventh class.
The LHC directed the district and sessions judge, Faisalabad, to look into the matter and submit a detailed report along with his own comments within a week.
According to details, Shaukat Abad’s 12-year-old daughter told police that she studied at a private school in Zam Zam Colony. On the day of the incident, two teachers named Abdul Wahid and Liaqat overpowered and molested her at the school. She alleged that the culprits had threatened her of dire consequences if she disclosed the incident. Meanwhile, the police registered a case against the accused and arrested them.
