LAHORE – A 23-year-old woman was found slaughtered from the fields in Nishtar Colony police limits on Thursday. Police sources say that they believe the woman, unidentified so far, was murdered after being raped by unidentified killers.
The police have removed the body to the morgue for autopsy and are investigating. Some passersby spotted the body lying in the fields near Haji Park and disclosed the happening to the police.
Police said that the killers slaughtered the woman with a sharp-edge somewhere else and fled away after throwing her body in the fields late on Wednesday night. Police termed the killing as blind-murder and said that they were investigating to unearth the killers. A murder case has also been registered against unidentified killers.
