Teenage girl abducted

TAXILA: A teenage girl was abducted by an unknown person in the limits of Taxila police station on Saturday.

Imran reported to the police that his teenage niece was going to relative’ house when an unknown person abducted her. Police have registered a case against the unknown abductor and launched a search for the girl.

House looted

Burglars broke into a house in the limits of Wah Saddar police station on Saturday and fled with looted items including cash and gold ornaments worth millions of rupees.

Malik Yasir has reported to police that in his absence, burglars broke into his house and escaped with worth Rs330,000 and other valuables amounting to Rs1.3 million. Police have registered a case and launched further investigation.

Outlaw held for ‘sexually-assaulting’ a handicapped woman

MUZAFFARGARH   –   Muzaffargarh police claimed to have arrested an outlaw for allegedly raping a woman, who was already in trouble due to fractured leg, at village Gairaywahan in the limits of Khangrah police station here Saturday. According to police sources, a woman (K), with a fractured leg due to accident, was living at her brother’s residence. An alleged outlaw named, Athar Shah alias Athari rushed to the home and allegedly raped the woman at gun point.

Accused involved in throwing acid on ex wife held

MULTAN   –   Police claimed to have arrested an accused involved in throwing acid on his ex wife in Green Town area here Saturday. According to spokesperson for police, acid was thrown on a woman named Misbah Aftab in Green Town area two days ago in which the accused Qari Shaukat was nominated. CPO Sadiq Ali took notice of the incident and ordered the immediate arrest of the accused. SHO Gulgasht Rao Zia-ur-Rehman along with his team raided and arrested the accused. NCSW joins hand PPAF for women’s empowerment conference

ISLAMABAD, Mar 02 (APP):The National Commission on the Status of Women (NCSW) and the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) have joined hands to host the National Women’s Conference.
