Karachi: A court on Tuesday remanded an alleged kidnapper and rapist in the custody of the SITE-A police for questioning till August 2.
The investigation officer informed Judicial Magistrate (West) Sohail Ahmed Mashoori that Ashraf along with his friends Shaan and Taimoor had kidnapped his cousin and later the three allegedly raped her on July 26. The co-accused are at large.
The judge ordered an inquiry by an honest police officer and a medical test of the girl.
He also told the investigation officer to arrest the absconding accused and appear along with the reports at the next hearing.
