PESHAWAR – A jobless man killed his wife in Afghan Colony, jurisdiction of Faqirabad Police station on Tuesday.
Police said that Nifaz Ali, who was jobless, opened fire at his wife Akhtara Bibi after exchanging harsh words with her.
Police said that the woman was seriously injured and shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital for medical treatment but she succumbed to injuries there.
The accused managed escape from the scene while police launched search to arrest him.
