Girls outshine boys in PU graduation exams

LAHORE – Girls have outshined the boys by getting five top positions out of six in Punjab University’s BA/BSc Annual Examination 2015.

BSc student Ayesha Khan, roll number 11079, got overall first position and obtained 699 marks.

Two other BSc students Hafsa and Fasahat Fatima, roll numbers 39354 and 11818, secured second and third positions with 695 and 675 marks respectively.

Ramla Tayyab, roll number 44505, stood first in BA and secured 674 marks, while Azhar Ali, roll number 74111, stood second with 664 marks.

Ume Kalsoom, roll number 25258, stood third and obtained 656 marks.

Total number of candidates appeared in BA/BSc Annual Examination 2015 is 121,658, out of which 48,582 passed the exams.
The passing percentage is 39.

A prize distribution ceremony will be held today at 9am in Al-Raazi Hall of Punjab University.

Punjab Minister for Education Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan will be the chief guest while Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran will be the guest of honour.

Punjab University Examinations Department has also declared the results of Post Graduate Diploma in International Affairs annual examination 2014 and BA annual examination 2015 for Hearing Impaired Students.
