DADU – A girl and her mother committed suicide in the Garibi village of Johi taluka on October 14, night because of refusal of the girl’s father to let her marry the man of her own choice.

According to Mohammad Umar Panhwar, her daughter, Bhani, 20, committed suicide by taking pesticide after he refused to marry her of her own choice. When her mother, Hajran, 50, heard about her daughter’s death, she also committed suicide by taking pesticide. Their bodies were brought to the Civil Hospital, Dadu, and after autopsy, handed over to their relatives.
